
Pink Olive SAVED OUR LIVES for our wedding. How we decided to work with them: I had a really hard time working with the “coordinator” who came with our venue, and finally realized that I needed to hire a Day Of Coordinator or else I would be directing traffic all day instead of being the bride. I reached out to Carisa directly about 8 weeks before my wedding, and she was incredibly gracious in matching us with Shannon L as our planner. How it went: We chose the Month-Of package, which meant that in the last 30 days before the wedding, Shannon took over all aspects of planning and coordination. Shannon made it super easy, by talking with me on the phone and setting me up with an online portal to upload my contracts for her to review. From there, Shannon thought of SO many details and logistical things that I had not planned for, and without her, would have been a disaster. She dealt with all of the changes, including when my caterer went out of business 6 weeks before my wedding and we had to find a totally new caterer. Shannon also communicated with all vendors, managed their arrival times, answered their questions, and handled all logistics. She offered advice to me where I needed it, but let me and my husband make our own decisions like what order to do the events of the evening (dances, toasts, dinner service). Shannon and her assistant wrangled my guests and family, some of whom are easily distracted (LOL). Another great detail – Shannon gathered up all my cards and gifts and guests’ disposable cameras that we put on each table, and put them in a place where we could easily find them the next day amongst all the chaos. Overall, I don’t think the event would have run half as smoothly as Shannon. We have only good memories thanks to her. Thank you, Carisa, Shannon, and Pink Olive!
